Nokia, the world’s largest cell phone maker, is getting into computer business. During a press event Nokia announced that it is partnering with AT&T to sell its new Nokia Booklet 3G for $299, with two year contract. Today, Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) disclosed the details about the highly anticipated Windows 7 operation system, which is expected to be in the stores on October 22, 2009. Starting Friday, consumers in U.S. will be able to pre-order Windows 7 at discounts of more than 50%. Today, Gateway officially announced the LT3103u netbook for $400, and more shockingly, it’s using an AMD Athlon 64 single core processor. Dell (NSDQ:Dell) said Thursday that the company’s Twitter stream is responsible for making $2 million in sales, according to a blog posted on the Dell community.
