The new 5th Generation Apple iPod Nano is finally out and it’s getting lot of attention. Google CEO Eric Schmidt will no longer sit on Apple’s Board of Directors after 3 years due to a conflict of interest. The break-up of Schmidt and Apple makes sense as Google and Apple are butting more heads on battlefields. Many people have always found it strange that Schmidt was on Apple’s board. But [...] Apple Inc. released an update of its iTunes to version 8.2.1 which bans the biggest rival the Palm Pre from iTunes. The iTunes software now adds function that will verify Apple devices and ban third-party devices from getting access to its software and online store. Apple has done it again. The company managed to sell one million new iPhone 3G S units, since its launch on Friday. This includes the early pre-orders and the retail store sales. That is pretty staggering considering this is the third generation model and just one weekend time frame. Today, Apple announced their new iPhone 3G S during the presentation at WWDC 2009 event. The new iPhone 3G S is much smarter, faster and the most powerful iPhone yet. I will be available in US on June 19, and the new iPhone is giving people what they were asking for- and more. Ira Winkler from ComputerWorld had interesting take on recent events during which Landon Fuller, a security researcher in San Francisco posted attack code that exploits the flaw to draw attention to a long-standing security problem in Apple’s Mac OS X operating system. |
