Verizon Wireless and Google Inc announced today a partnership which will leverage the Verizon Wireless network and boost Google’s efforts to compete with Apple’s iPhone and AT&T. Motorola’s upcoming new android-based phone called Shules (or sometimes Sholes) is spotted with Verizon logo on it. T-Mobile is slated to launch T-Mobile New G-Phone - MyTouch. While no hardware details have been released, rumors have it that this new phone dubbed G2 is essentially a rebadged HTC Magic. T-Mobile is even treating its existing customers right. It will be release in major European countries in June. The phone joins as the second major mobile manufacturer to feature Android based smartphone, after High Tech Computer (HTC) of Taiwan, which has the T-Mobile G1 and the HTC [...] Hewlett-Packard is considering using Google’s Android instead of Microsoft’s Windows operrating system on their new mini PCs called Netbooks, according to a report on the Wall Street Journal.
