Nokia, the world’s largest cell phone maker, is getting into computer business. During a press event Nokia announced that it is partnering with AT&T to sell its new Nokia Booklet 3G for $299, with two year contract. Today, Gateway officially announced the LT3103u netbook for $400, and more shockingly, it’s using an AMD Athlon 64 single core processor. There has been speculation that next generation of Netbooks will have Microsoft’s Windows 7. However, the catch is that version of Microsoft’s Windows 7 which will come preloaded with these Netbooks will provide the ability to run only 3 simultaneous applications.
